EOSIO Hackathons are powered by EOSIO blockchain software, built by Block.one.

In 2018, Block.one hosted the EOS Global Hackathon series, bringing events to people from around the world. We began in Hong Kong, working our way through Sydney, London, San Francisco and finishing with the grand finale in Cape Town. 

Participants came from countless industries and professions, but they had a common vision: to build blockchain-powered applications that could foster a more connected and transparent world. In the end, 1,700 people built more than 280 projects on EOSIO. 

EOSIO is a platform for everyone—regardless of your skills or background, you can host your own #eosiohackathon.
