Coding for Change EOSIO VIRTUAL HACKATHON

May 1 - June 1, 2020 Build a stronger future, together.

COVID-19 has changed our world. As communities begin to stabilize, it’s clear that life has changed now and in the future, and that new challenges require new solutions.

The submission period is closed, and we’ll announce the winner on June 12, 2020. In the meantime, you can keep learning and building through webinars and other EOSIO resources.

Why Coding for Change

The virus ravaged not just lives, livelihoods, and lifestyles, but also exposed the fragility of traditional systems, the lack of trustworthy data, and the gulf between those in power and the powerless.

Wisdom lies within communities, so we counted on the community to virtually come together and find the best solutions. Coding for Change invited designers, innovators, engineers, entrepreneurs, experts, and anyone who had an idea and wanted to make a difference.

Our everyday has changed. But not our mission. Humanity needs digital infrastructures that have integrity, provide access to all, and are resilient in the face of a crisis EOSIO blockchain can deliver.

The Challenge

Apply blockchain technology to address the problems and/or expected societal changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
